Katherine Heigl opens up with the world on her "white bubble childhood" and how it has affected her parenting style for the children of her adoptive parents who are multiracial. In an interview, she spoke about the "Firefly Lane" actress, along with "Grey's Anatomy" actress admitted her body didn't matter to her. But after having a conversation with her adoptive sister from South Korea about how society was treating them, she became conscious of the differences they were. I asked Meg whether, while going out with her parents she received a certain treatment and when out alone, she was treated with a totally different treatment. Meg replied, "Oh yeah, always!" Heigl spoke to Parents about when she realized the naivety of her actions. Her anger grew at the time, and chose to use that anger to assist her daughters who were adopted by her. Heigl as well as her long-time husband -- the musician Josh Kelley -- have four-year-old son Joshua Bishop Kelley, Joshua Bishop Kelley, Jr. In 2009, the couple adopted Nancy Leigh (12), an adopted daughter from South Korea, and Adalaide (8 an African-American child) in the year 2012.
