Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports as young as 14 years old. She began training in kickboxing boxing BJJ and wrestling before completing her debut as an amateur at the age of 18 in WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was able to continue building upon her victory at Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won three consecutive fights. She finished all of her opponents within the first round. She then went back to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen initially defeated Silvia Babyghian, before heading to take on Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 and fought Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia gave Aspen a unanimous defeat and beat her in a match that tarnished Ladd's career as an amateur. Ladd recovered from this loss to beat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-one. Aspen was a professional when she entered the ranks in the year 2015. Aspen signed with Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta '11 and she won by one-round TKO. Invicta Combat Championships 16, She took her next bout in the fight against Amanda Cooper through a second-round Armbar submission. Aspen utilized the abilities she acquired in wrestling to take on McGill. Aspen ended her bout via TKO (3rd round) (elbows, punches). Aspen took on Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. Aspen fought Hoy with an opponent with a catchweight (138.1lb) because Ladd didn't make weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy until she was defeated in the second round by TKO. Invicta FC 21, she was victorious in her last fight for the promotion with a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina and pounded her with a ground-and-pound in the second round to secure a TKO victory. She repeated her dominance and picked up a more stunning victory in her next match against Tonya Evinger, who was fighting at UFC 229. Ladd finished Evinger in the opening round. She also received her a night's performance bonus. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes was in the UFC's Fight Night dos Anjos Lee match with Eubanks' Sijara was the first fight she's had in a major capacity. Ladd's win was a majority victory, as well as the Fight of the Night award went to both fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within 16 seconds, breaking her losing streak. Following a brief break, she returned to finish Yana Kunizkaya of the UFC in their ESPN 7 third-round fight. In her recent fight for the UFC she was a part of Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 as a replacement fight. She lost by unanimous decision.
