Gerina-Piller
Born on March 29th, 1985. She was born in Roswell New Mexico. Gerina Michelle Mendoza is her birth name. Gerina Stevenson is a native of Mexico in the family of Mexican parents Alan Stevenson and Rita Stevenson. She is of Mexican-American heritage and is an American by nationality. Her desire to play sports began as a small toddler. Gerina first began playing golf at fifteen years old. Gerina attended Goddard High School. She was the winner of at the New Mexico State Golf Tournament during her time in high school. Also, she played volleyball at the state level. In 2003, she started her studies at the University of Texas. In the final seasons of her professional career, she won each tournament that she participated in. While in her undergrad years, she was awarded the Conference USA's player of the year as well as UTEP Female Athletic Champion of the Year.
